NEPAD Nigeria is structured into Four (4) Departments and Five (5) Units as follows :

 

  1. DEPARTMENTS
    • Administration and Finance;
    • Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS);
    • Programmes Development and Implementation (PDI); and
    • African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM/GOV).
  2. UNITS
    • Legal;
    • Internal Audit;
    • Media/Information Outreach;
    • Procurement; and
    • Servicom.

Each of the Departments is headed by a Director who reports directly to the National Coordinator/CEO. The Director of the Department of Admin & Finance serves as Secretary of Programmes to coordinate the activities of all Departments and Units. The Unit Head also reports directly to CEO.

The Departments have Divisions and Branches as stated below:

Administration and Finance Department

Administration and Supplies Division: This division is divided into the following Branches and Sections; Appointment, Promotion & Discipline, Training & Staff Welfare, Maintenance, Protocol and Stores.

Finance and Accounts Division

The Branches in this division are: Budget, Finance & Account.

Planning, Research and Statistics Department

  • Planning Division: This division is divided into two Branches: Planning, Research and Statistics Branches.
  • Research & Statistics Division: This division has ICT, Library, and Research & Statistics Branches.

Programmes, Development and Implementation Department

  • Social Services Division: This division has the following Branches under it: Environment Managements and Science Technology/Health.
  • Economic Affairs Division: This has Infrastructure and Agriculture Rural Development Branches under it.
  • Political Affairs Division: The Bi-lateral Cooperation and Tourism Branches are under this division.

African Peer Review Mechanism/Governance Department

  • Democracy, Political & Economic Governance Division: This division has the following Branches: Economic Governance and Democracy & Political Governance Branches.
  • Management, Corporate & Socio-Economic Division: This division has Management & Corporate Governance and Socio-Economic Branches.

It is also important to state that in the new structure the Five Units are under CEO’s Office.
